Hey John,

I wanted to make sure you saw this urgent message from my colleague, JL.

There are just 7 days left to speak out against a proposal to end the
EPA’s ability to fight the climate crisis.

This proposal is a reckless assault on climate action that benefits
climate polluters at the expense of people and our planet. Right now, the
public comment period on the proposal is open — and we need every climate
activist to make their voice heard.

[ [link removed] ]I’m going to deliver 350.org’s official public comment opposing this
dangerous proposal before the September 22 deadline. Will you add your
signature?

[ACT] This is your chance to make Trump’s EPA listen
To: John [[email protected]]

John,

Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency is trying to end its own ability
to fight climate change.

Earlier this summer, the Trump administration proposed rescinding the
“endangerment finding,” the scientific basis for regulating climate
pollution under the Clean Air Act.^1

Now is our chance to make our voices heard. The EPA is required to accept
feedback on this proposal from the public — and the deadline to submit a
public comment is coming up fast.

[ [link removed] ]John, will you add your name to 350's official public
comment demanding the EPA stick to its mission and uphold and enforce the
endangerment finding?

If the Trump administration gets its way, it would end the EPA’s ability
to protect people and our planet from the climate crisis.

It would be a betrayal of the EPA’s own mission and of decades of climate
science. The consequences — more pollution, more extreme climate
disasters, more deaths — would be felt for generations.^2

The people least responsible for the climate crisis will be the most
harmed, while the ones who are responsible — the fossil fuel industry —
rake in billions in profit.

We can’t let this happen, John. The time to speak out is NOW,
while Trump’s EPA is forced to listen. [ [link removed] ]We’re submitting 350’s official
public comment ahead of the deadline on September 22. Will your signature
be on it?
