Because of you we were able to surpass our fundraising goal for this end-of-quarter and prove that the progressive momentum isn’t slowing down. I feel re-energized by this outpouring of support, and I hope that you do too!
Last week when I went down to New York to support Jamaal Bowman in the final hours of his primary election, I was blown away by the enthusiasm and energy of supporters throughout his district. It was not surprising to me that he won because it was obvious that the district saw no other option.
What was most captivating for me that day was how much the energy of NY-16 mirrored the energy our team has seen in cities and towns across MA-01 for our movement.
Progressives are ready to make change, and we’re voting. We’re voting because we know that the future of our families, our communities, and our country depend on us building a people-powered democracy.
So, these next two months we won’t be slowing down! We’ll be investing in reaching every voter in Western and Central Massachusetts. Because now that we know that change starts at the ballot box, there’s no stopping us! The Democratic establishment has given power to corporations and the wealthy for too long. It’s time we take that power back.
I am so proud of what we have built and what we are building. It is time for a new generation of leadership for our district. One that fights for bold, 21st century solutions like Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. We deserve to be championed and I will fight every day to ensure our voices are heard. We’re going to win this for MA-01.
