It's Emma, Deborah’s campaign manager.

We’re just a few days out from our mid-month fundraising deadline and we still have ground to cover to hit our $6,000 goal.

People across North Carolina are fed up with the dysfunction and chaos in Washington — and we need to show them that real change is possible.

This campaign is about putting everyday people back at the center of the conversation. But if we’re going to take on the deep pockets backing Trump and his allies, we need a powerful showing on this upcoming FEC report.

Will you chip in $10 (or whatever you can) before Monday at midnight to help us hit our goal and show that North Carolina is ready for change? [[link removed]]

---------- Forwarded message from Deborah ----------

It's Deborah.

Let’s be honest — things in Washington are not going well.

The chaos is nonstop. The gridlock, the finger-pointing, the extreme MAGA policies — it’s hurting real people. And here in North Carolina, we’re feeling the consequences.

I went to Washington to fight for working families in NC-02 — to protect our schools, our health care, our environment, and our jobs.

But time and time again, my colleagues and I have been up against a Republican majority more focused on pleasing Donald Trump and his wealthy friends than actually solving problems.

They’ve made it clear: they’re not interested in governing. They’re interested in control.

Next year’s elections are our opportunity to pump the brakes on all of this chaos. To restore some sanity, some balance — and to make sure that the people of North Carolina are finally heard again.

But here’s the thing: We need to show strength now if we want to win in 2026.

My team has set a mid-month goal of $6,000, and we’re counting on grassroots supporters to help us hit it.

With a crucial FEC deadline coming up at the end of the month, every dollar you give helps prove that the people of North Carolina are ready for change. Can I count on you to chip in $10 right now? [[link removed]]

Thank you for your support,

Deborah

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
