As Trump doubles down, insisting he can send troops to occupy *any* American city he wants, a federal judge ruled that he broke the law by deploying the National Guard in Los Angeles this summer. But that hasn’t stopped him.

First LA, then DC and Chicago. Now, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott is standing firm and urging his community to resist this federal intimidation. But House Speaker Mike Johnson just sent a chilling message to Democratic mayors: “Yield, man.” In other words – fall in line, or else.

This is authoritarianism out in the open. But we are NOT going to let Trump and his MAGA backers take over our cities and scare us into submission. And so Our Revolution is activating our Citizen Action Team in cities across America to mobilize for a historic *No Kings Day* day of protest on October 18.

Right now, the stakes are higher than ever as Trump crosses new lines every day. He’s occupying our cities. Seizing full control of every last government agency. And his allies in Congress are running interference, pressing local leaders to “yield.”

If we don’t meet this moment, it’s hard to even imagine what could be next. Simply put: our democracy won’t survive unless we fight for it.

In June, 5 MILLION of us took to the streets in No Kings Day actions from Oakland to Boston – making news, drowning out Trump’s birthday military parade, and showing the world that democracy in America still runs bottom-up, not top-down.

This time, we’re going to make it even bigger.

Trump’s militarization of our streets makes it crystal clear that he wants us afraid and silent. Instead, we’ll be *everywhere* – marching, chanting, occupying public squares. We have organizers on the ground in Chicago, Baltimore, and dozens of other cities, but getting people out costs money.
