Republicans love to preach a “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” and “no government handouts” mentality — until they’re talking to a billionaire.

They love to claim that we simply don’t have the money to pass any policies that will help working people, but they’ll miraculously find the money to subsidize tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy.

For example: The Big Beautiful Bill gave Meta a $15 billion check by cutting food benefits and Medicaid. That’s more than our federal government spends on child care in an entire year.

I’m done being surprised at their hypocrisy, but I’m not done fighting back. Simply put, the rules work differently for different groups of people — and I’m doing everything in my power to put a stop to this rigged system and change this.

Will you pitch in $28 or anything you can to power this critical work? We can — and we must — make our government actually work for working people. I know we can. But we can’t throw up our hands and accept defeat in this moment, we’ve got to keep fighting.
