It’s unbelievable, John – House Republicans are putting together a committee to “investigate” January 6th. This is a clear attempt by Trump’s MAGA allies to whitewash history and deny his role inciting an insurrection on our nation’s Capitol.
Thankfully, Leader Hakeem Jeffries just announced the four strong Democrats chosen to serve on the new January 6th subcommittee and defend the findings of the Select Committee in 2023.
Jamie Raskin.
Eric Swalwell.
Jasmine Crockett.
Jared Moskowitz.
These brave Democrats will be minority voices on this GOP-led panel, making them the sole line of defense against this shameless Republican attempt to rewrite the truth of January 6th.
They’ll undoubtedly face the same nonstop attacks that have been lodged at Zoe Lofgren and the rest of the original January 6th Committee.
As this subcommittee enters its investigation, we all need to stand with these four Democrats and stand against this MAGA attempt to whitewash history.
