When the Wall Street Journal reported that Donald Trump signed a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein, he sued them and called it “fake news.”

Well, now you can see it with your own eyes: Trump lied straight to our faces.

John, this is disgusting. I wish I could say I was shocked.

But what’s even worse? Not a single Republican in Congress has had the courage to stand up to Trump or hold him accountable. They’re just looking the other way — or worse, going along with it.

I’ll be honest: I’m angry. Angry that the man who disgraced the presidency still has so much control. Angry that too many in Washington care more about protecting Trump than protecting our country.
