Let’s be honest — things in Washington are not going well.

The chaos is nonstop. The gridlock, the finger-pointing, the extreme MAGA policies — it’s hurting real people. And here in North Carolina, we’re feeling the consequences.

I went to Washington to fight for working families in NC-02 — to protect our schools, our health care, our environment, and our jobs.

But time and time again, my colleagues and I have been up against a Republican majority more focused on pleasing Donald Trump and his wealthy friends than actually solving problems.

They’ve made it clear: they’re not interested in governing. They’re interested in control.

Next year’s elections are our opportunity to pump the brakes on all of this chaos. To restore some sanity, some balance — and to make sure that the people of North Carolina are finally heard again.

But here’s the thing: We need to show strength now if we want to win in 2026.
