[link removed] [[link removed]] We’ve all seen the videos, John. Masked ICE agents are throwing unsuspecting people — including kids — into unmarked vans. They’re stuffing legal residents into local detention facilities, and detaining them indefinitely with no due process. It’s horrifying.

Montana Republicans have made excuse after excuse for this cruelty — but they’ve refused to answer one important question:

Why are ICE agents covering their faces?

It’s not complicated. If ICE’s actions are legal, like Montana Republicans say they are, they shouldn’t have anything to hide. Local police officers don’t have the freedom to throw away their badge number or hide their identities — so why are Republicans letting ICE agents hide theirs?

It’s because they KNOW they’re breaking the law.

We remember when the Republican Party was the party of small government, John. But those days are long gone. Now, Montana Republicans are more than happy to let anonymous federal agents tear families apart and bulldoze our communities with no recourse.

Montana families should feel safe in their own homes, not paralyzed with fear by unaccountable federal agents hiding behind masks. This is about basic human dignity.
