Friend, We are one signature away. This week, newly sworn-in Rep. James Walkinshaw became the 217th member of Congress to sign the discharge petition to force the DOJ to release the Epstein files. That means Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie now need just one more signature to hit the 218 threshold required to break Speaker Mike Johnson’s blockade and force a floor vote.[1] This is unprecedented. Even some Republicans – including Trump allies Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace – have bucked Donald Trump’s demands and signed the petition. And GOP leaders privately admit: if Khanna and Massie get 218, a floor vote is inevitable. Trump is rattled. He continues to call the Epstein scandal a “hoax” – to the disgust of survivors of Epstein’s sexual abuse and the horror of members of his own party. But the cover-up is crumbling, and Congress is closer than ever to delivering transparency.
