Friend,
The Atlantic hurricane season is well underway. Communities are facing stronger storms, intensifying floods and costly recoveries. And in the United States, massive proposed cuts to FEMA and disaster response programs threaten to leave communities even more vulnerable.
Already this year, Hurricane Erin, a category 5 storm, came dangerously close to hitting the East Coast of the United States. And the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has predicted an above-normal hurricane season.
Whatever happens this hurricane season, Americares is ready.
