But Trump and his MAGA Republicans in Congress still REFUSE to reinstate the Federal Assault Weapons Ban and protect our communities from endless mass shootings.

Without a national ban on these weapons of war, it’s next to impossible to stop shooters from using them to carry out violence at any place, any time. It’s despicable.

Here’s the deal:

We protested. We called in. We rallied.

We drove across the country to the sites of mass shootings in 2024.

We sat outside the Capitol for 7 days and 7 nights in 2023.

We helped host a YEARLY vigil for survivors of gun violence and the loved ones of the innocents lost to these senseless tragedies – attended by hundreds, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

But Republicans refused to listen to us.

They turned off their office phones.

They walked away from the survivors of mass shootings.

They refused to hear the stories of those we’ve lost to the tragedies they have the power to prevent.

And now these very same Republicans have full power, while 280+ mass shootings ravage our communities.

We even watched a mass school shooting steal the lives of two innocent children and wound 14 children and 3 adults on their THIRD day of school just recently – and the shooter was armed with an assault weapon that Republicans REFUSE to ban.

Here’s the thing: If we don’t stand up and demand action NOW, MAGA Republicans will only do more damage.
