Hi-
When guns are the #1 killer of this generation, deadly guns like assault weapons do not belong anywhere near our communities, our neighborhoods, or our schools.
That is why hundreds of other students and I in over 250 schools across the country took part in our National School Walkout last Friday.
We walked out of our classrooms to send our lawmakers a message: Protect our lives and ban assault weapons.
We must keep up the momentum and keep putting pressure on the lawmakers WE put in office to keep us safe. We must make sure our movement has the resources to mobilize students, moms, and other advocates in every corner of the country.
That's why I'm asking: will you chip in to the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund today to keep our momentum going? Every donation to Everytown fuels our advocacy work—making it possible for students and moms to mobilize our base, pressure lawmakers, protect our communities, and keep families safe from gun violence.
It was so inspiring to see how many students around the country joined the call and walked out of school to call for an end to gun violence.
Our walkouts were a display of our strength and power as students and young people in this movement. And the unity in the fight to end gun violence.
But this isn't the end. We are planning to keep the momentum going. And with your help, we'll have the resources to do it. So, donate now to ensure students, moms, and advocates can keep building this movement and demanding change.
Thank you for being a part of this movement,
Timberlyn Mazeikis
