URGENT ACTION NEEDED:

STOP Trump’s EPA from Letting Corporate Polluters Run Amok

Over 15 years ago, the EPA affirmed that greenhouse gases pose a threat to
public health and our environment. This “Endangerment Finding” serves as the
basis for federal climate protections, like cleaner vehicle standards and limits
on carbon pollution from power plants.

Now, the Trump EPA is trying to deny the harmful climate impacts that scientists
have confirmed — and communities around the country have felt firsthand — and
allow polluters to spew unlimited toxins into our air. Tell the Trump
administration that our lives are more important than corporate polluters’
profits.

We have a narrow window to act, and we need your help to fight this reckless, heartless, harmful move. TAKE ACTION NOW >> [link removed] TAKE ACTION NOW >> [link removed] Friend — one of the Trump administration’s most dangerous attacks on our
climate and communities is underway, and we need your voice to help stop it. Trump’s EPA is trying to deny that climate pollutants (a.k.a. greenhouse gases) are a threat to public healthby removing the basis for all federal climate regulations known as the
Endangerment Finding. Leave a public comment to say NO to Trump’s reckless, pro-polluter scheme that would drastically harm our health, communities, and climate. Urge the EPA to keep the Endangerment Finding intact >> [link removed] If EPA goes through with this, it would deny the experiences of tens of millions
of our neighbors, friends, and families who have experienced fossil-fueled
climate disasters like deadly floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, droughts, and
wildfires, and hand Big Polluters a free pass to continue spewing greenhouse
gases into our air and worsen the climate crisis. This is climate denial and fossil-fueled corruption at its absolute worst,
Friend, and it WILL harm our communities. We need every voice in our
movement to speak out before it’s too late. TAKE ACTION NOW [link removed] Here’s what’s at stake if we don’t take action now: More pollution and fewer guardrails for polluters. By denying that climate change harms our communities, the EPA will toss out limits on carbon pollution from cars, trucks, and power plants, essentially giving companies free rein to pollute.
Worsening public health. More tailpipe exhaust from vehicles means more asthma attacks, strokes, heart disease, cancer, and premature deaths, especially among communities of color, low-income communities, and children and seniors.
Higher costs for families. Rolling back cleaner cars standards means less fuel-efficient vehicles, deepens our reliance on climate-destroying fossil fuels, and could cost everyday people hundreds of dollars a year at the pump, while enriching Trump’s fossil fuel donors.
More climate chaos. With Trump’s EPA denying climate change and giving Big Polluters a free pass, we can expect even more frequent and severe wildfires, droughts, floods, and crop failures, driving up costs and food insecurity while deadly heat and storms ravage our communities. We need to be working to SOLVE the climate crisis, not ACCELERATING it. Please, fight back by telling the EPA that climate change is real, greenhouse gases are harmful to our health, and the 2009 Endangerment Finding and Cleaner Vehicle Standards MUST stay intact >> [link removed] Thank you for standing up for science and helping to protect our climate,
health, and future. Matthew Davis
