REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NAVARRO COUNTY NEWSLETTER.
SEPTEMBER 2025

The Republican Party Of Navarro County will hold an Executive Committee Meeting on Monday September 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Republican Headquarters located at 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

Krista Schild, Texas Director of RAIR Foundation, is a former airline flight attendant during 911 grounding of planes, with personal insights into the Muslim agenda from this experience.  She will be speaking on the Resolution Denouncing CAIR.

RAIR Foundation is a grassroots counter group to Sharia and Marxist threat organizations.  Plans to build Hamas Sanctuary Cities in our communities warrants special attention.  Krista will not only discuss what this would mean to our future and our children's future, but will present an action plan that would protect Texas from becoming the Mecca of the West.

Please join us for a social from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., honoring our local elected officials.

All registered voters are welcome to attend.  For more information, reference the website www.navgop.org.

WHY DO WE OBSERVE 9/11

It has been twenty-four years since that day when America was attacked.  a day when the Twin Towers fell taking the lives of thousands of people in faraway New York City.  Many first responders gave their lives by running into the smoke and flames to save them.

Who are first responders?  They are the Law Enforcement Officer, who may have saved your life by issuing you a ticket for speeding through a red light, making you think the next time you approach a red light, where you may be involved in an accident.  Maybe the Firefighter who rushes to put out a fire at your house or to assist in some other emergency.  Or, the EMT who answers a call when you are having a heart attack.  They are the kids who join the Armed Forces to be ready to fight our Country's enemies to keep us free.  In short. they are the ones who put their lives on the line every day.  They run toward trouble, so we can enjoy our lives here in America.

We need to remember what happened on September 11, 2001, to bring home just how important first responders are in our lives, as they put their life on the line for us each day.  We need to appreciate them and thank them when the opportunity arises.  Today is one of the opportunities to show our local first responders our appreciation.
Freedom Flag Committee
Charlie Kirk believed in the First Amendment -- the free exchange of ideas and debate -- which has been suppressed and silenced on our college and university campuses.  Charlie Kirk spoke the truth.  He is an inspiring leader of a great young people movement towards capitalism, conservatism, and Christianity, which made him a threat to Marxist left -- killed in cold blood.

We are in a spiritual war in our country.  The right is fighting with words & reason and the left is fighting with violence and lies.

His organization Turning Point Faith brought the Biblical Citizenship Class to Navarro County churches in 2024.

We encourage those who wish to honor Charlie's memory to further the cause he devoted his life to:  robust, peaceful, and principled engagement in the marketplace of ideas - always grounded in respect, civility, and an unwavering commitment to constitutional rights.

A BIG CHANGE-UP IN THE ELECTION PROCESS:

SB 2753

SB 2753 by Hall/Isaac.  Early voting will be required to begin the 12th day before election day and continue through the day before election day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.  Each polling place that was an early voting polling place must also be an election day polling place. (More polling places may be added for election day.)  All reporting will be in two categories: Early Voting by mail and voting in person (combining early voting in person and election day results.)

This is a big change with a lot of logistics to be worked out, so Section 32 of the bill says: “As soon as practicable after the effective date* of this Act, but not later than August 1, 2027, the SOS shall:

1. Adopt rules and prescribe procedures required for the implementation of this Act; and

2. Publish a report in the Texas register station that the secretary:

 (A) has consulted with county election officials in this state; and

 (B) is confident that the counties in this state are prepared to implement the provisions of this Act.

*The Act takes effect September 1, 2027.

Republican Party of Navarro County operations account pays for our Republican Headquarters in West Third Avenue.  As Republicans, we must pay our own way.  It is the other party that has free stuff.  We have several contributor levels:
  • Roosevelt = $ 100
  • Coolidge = $ 250
  • Eisenhower = $ 500
  • Lincoln = $ 1000
  • Reagan = $ 5000
You would receive a lapel pin, recognizing your contribution.

The Republican Headquarters is a valuable resource to the local party, as well as the Navarro County Republican Women’s club.  Volunteers have been recruited, because they either called the Headquarters or came in person.  Our candidates had a visible and accessible place to file for office.

Donations can be received on the www.navgop.org website.
