Yesterday we were reminded -- too painfully -- that freedom is not free
Patriot–

I had planned to send you a very different email today, reflecting on the September 11th attacks. Then yesterday, the shock and pain of life suddenly ripped from us because of ideological hate was made new and raw all over again.

Like you, I am still reeling from the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Just moments before Charlie was cruelly taken from us, we rallied near the Capitol in Washington, DC for the conclusion of a month's long bus tour to build support for the SAVE Act. In the pouring rain, hundreds of supporters from all over the country and key leaders in Congress joined us to make a stand for America's founding principles.

It was an exciting moment I was looking forward to sharing with you. Then the unthinkable happened.

When the time is right, I will share more about our work, but today we reflect, both on the legacy of Charlie Kirk as well as the somber significance of September 11th.

Twenty-four years ago, our nation endured a horrific act of terror. On this solemn day, we pause to remember the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the resilience of the American spirit. The events of 9/11/01 reminded us of the fragility of freedom and the importance of eternal vigilance.

Just as we united in the face of tragedy twenty-four years ago, we must stand together once again as active and engaged citizens. The fight for a government that truly represents "We the People" is a continuation of that very same American spirit Charlie lived every day.

Let us carry forward with renewed dedication to our Republic. Let us remain diligent, ensure governmental accountability, and never cease in our pursuit of liberty for all. Your active participation, whether at rallies, through petitions, or in your communities, is what will restore the strength and goodness of America.

Thank you for your unstoppable patriotism and commitment to our nation's future. Please keep Charlie's family, and the families of all who lost loved ones on 9/11, in your prayers.

In liberty,

Jenny Beth Martin
