The Ellen M. Bozman Award honors individuals or organizations that have provided significant leadership and innovation in supporting affordable housing in Arlington.

We are proud to recognize BU-GATA as our 2025 Ellen Bozman Award recipient! Since 1992, BU-GATA has empowered Latino tenants, defended affordable housing in Arlington, and built pathways for youth and community leadership in neighborhoods across Arlington. Their staff, volunteers, and Youth Brigade have provided decades of advocacy that reflect the spirit of Ellen Bozman’s legacy in ensuring safe, stable, and affordable homes for all.
