Let me say this as clearly as I can:

If I’m elected to the U.S. Senate, I will not vote for Chuck Schumer to remain Democratic leader.

I’ve spent my life making high-stakes decisions as a fighter pilot and as commander of the International Space Station. I know what it means to act under pressure, and I know that inaction in a crisis is a death sentence.

Democrats are in a crisis. And Schumer's refusal to adapt is costing us elections—especially in tough states like Texas.

We keep hearing, “Is this the year Texas flips blue?” But the reason we keep falling short isn’t the voters. It’s that we keep putting up candidates who aren’t empowered to lead—because they’re tethered to a broken machine controlled by people like Schumer.

We have to break that cycle. And I’m ready to do it.
