The assassination of Charlie Kirk is one of the greatest tragedies in our nation’s history. Particularly for young conservatives, Charlie served as a role-model for boldly living out Christian faith, genuinely engaging in truth-seeking dialogue with people of different ideologies, joyfully participating in grassroots political activism, and faithfully building a family. His death is a great blow to all of us, and at a time like this, it’s important that we be together. In times of profound national sadness and confusion, we need community. So at this time of national tragedy, I want all of us to be together as a community of believers, conservatives, patriots, and citizens.

Given the climate of fear and violence, we are taking significant precautions to ensure the safety of our attendees at this event. Extensive security measures are being taken at the event venue, including, but not limited to, the presence of police officers. I tell you this not to scare you, but to assure you that DYR will always prioritize the safety and security of its members. We will not succumb to fear, we will not retreat from our duty, and we will not be silenced. Even in these uncertain times, the work continues.

The event will begin at 6:30 PM and last until 8:30 PM. Event details will be provided upon RSVP. Only attendees that have RSVP’d may attend. We all owe so much to Charlie Kirk and Turning Point. The words are inadequate, but Charlie Kirk changed the world. He brought people to Christ, he changed hearts and minds, he inspired, he challenged, and he did it all with joy and decency. A life well lived deserves to be honored, and there is no group of people I would rather honor the life of Charlie Kirk with than the members of DYR. Come be a part of community at this trying time. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday night.
