Education spending has risen in the past decade, and the state has invested in teacher training and hiring to help bolster student outcomes. But many districts continue to face academic and staffing difficulties. Examining trends in staff spending, student-teacher ratios, and teacher credentials and experience can inform efforts to address these challenges.
