Dear John,
Today marks the 24th anniversary of the brutal attacks on our country by Al Qaeda terrorists. We pause to reflect on the devastating tragedies that took place in New York and Washington, D.C., and to honor the innocent lives lost.
Thousands of Connecticut residents commute to New York every day and were directly impacted by these horrific events. Many lost family members, friends, and loved ones in the attacks.
As Americans, we must remember the unity that arose in the aftermath of that terrible day—reminding us that no matter our differences or political beliefs, we are united as one nation.
At the CTGOP, we remain committed to honoring the victims, remembering the sacrifices made, and recognizing that the perpetrators were brought to justice. We continue to work toward restoring the spirit of unity that carried us through those dark times.
