Statement from Indiana GOP Chairwoman Lana Keesling on the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

 

INDIANAPOLIS (September 11, 2025) – “I, like so many of you, have been deeply shaken by the horrific footage and news of Charlie Kirk's assassination. There is no excuse for such an act of evil, and my prayers will remain with his wife, two young children, and those he held dear. Our nation joins you in mourning."

 

"Charlie was the most outspoken defender of free speech and open debate of his generation, and to see him gunned down for his speech is a horror beyond words. He will be remembered as a champion of the values we hold sacred, and it is my sincere hope that the monster who carried out this vile act will be brought to justice as quickly as possible."
