Dear John,
Yesterday I told Keir Starmer to sack Peter Mandelson as Britain's Ambassador to America. Instead, he said he had full confidence in Mandelson.

Mandelson's intimate relationship with the notorious paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, including calling him his 'best pal' - made him unfit to hold the office of HM Ambassador.

At a time when Russia has made an incursion into the airspace of a NATO ally, threatening the whole of the West, Starmer's man in Washington was more preoccupied with his political survival.

Anyone could see that Mandelson's position was untenable. Once again, Starmer's own judgement has failed him.

He refused to sack him, even after further emails came to light that showed Mandelson encouraged Epstein to get early release from charges of child sex crimes.

And while Mandelson might now be gone, the Prime Minister must now publish all of the documents relating to Peter Mandelson’s appointment as Ambassador.

People have known about Mandelson's association with Epstein for years.

Did the Prime Minister not press for further information or did he know and decided that it was ok?

The Prime Minister claims that 'full due process' was followed with this appointment. The British people deserve to find out a bit more about that 'process'.

As the numerous personnel changes have shown in the last 14 months, Keir Starmer's judgement is flawed.

He got it wrong when he appointed Mandelson. He got it wrong at PMQs yesterday. And he got it wrong when new information came to light last night.

This matters to you because Britain cannot afford anymore of Keir Starmer's bad judgements.

Putin is testing the resolve of NATO and Britain’s economy is on the brink.

The country cannot afford four more weeks of this, much less four years.Only the Conservative Party are developing the plans and delivering the leadership to pull our country back from the brink.
