Trump and ICE are ramping up operations in Chicago by bringing in one of the men who oversaw the most intense ICE roundups in Los Angeles.

ICE is only going to accelerate its presence in Chicago, bringing even more fear to communities there. That's why our trucks aren't leaving.

I have some breaking news for you: the Border Patrol commander who oversaw Trump’s brutal raids in Los Angeles has arrived in Chicago to oversee deportations in the city.

Gregory Bovino — the man who sent armored vehicles and mounted agents into MacArthur Park, who oversaw raids outside Home Depot stores, who became the face of Trump’s deportations in California — is now in Chicago to lead a blitz of arrests here.

Right now, our trucks are in the streets of Chicago. They’re rolling through neighborhoods already hit by ICE, reminding families of their rights if confronted by federal agents.

I’m asking you to chip in this morning to help us keep them there.

Trump is escalating his domestic war on those he deems to be his opponents. He is turning federal law enforcement into a national police force, staging raids in our cities, spreading fear in immigrant neighborhoods, and showing off for social media.

We will continue to confront Trump and his minions in real time. But keeping these trucks on the streets costs money. And if we want them to keep rolling while Bovino and his agents ramp up their blitz, we need your help today.
