One of my favorite parts of this campaign is traveling across the great state of Minnesota. No matter where I am — on a farm in Carlton County, or at a coffee shop in Saint Paul — you can spot me rocking a pair of amazing earrings — if I do say so myself.

And as I’ve criss-crossed the state, folks are starting to take notice. Everywhere I go, it seems like folks are gifting me another amazing pair of earrings! I don’t know where I’m going to start putting them. 

As I wear them, they remind me of the small business owners, local artists, and everyday Minnesotans that I meet. So today, I wanted to share a pair given to me by the incredible Sheridyn, a student at Southwest Minnesota State University: 

Folks like Sheridyn are why I’m running for Senate. We need more leaders working to bring down the cost of college, make housing affordable, and ensure there are good jobs in the communities folks want to live in.

Fighting for working people is what I’ve done my entire career, and it’s exactly what I’ll do in the Senate. And I’ll take my earrings with me, to remind me every day of the folks I’m fighting for.
