It’s Day 234 of President Trump’s second term. No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies.

Charlie Kirk: The Latest Victim Of Leftist Hate

My good friend and ally, Charlie Kirk, was shot today during one of his signature events engaging with college students at Utah Valley University. President Trump has just confirmed and we are heartbroken to report that Charlie Kirk is dead.

We join the president in sorrow and in praise for Charlie. He was loved and admired by all.

There will be many reactions to this news. But the one reaction that is not acceptable is to let this overwhelm us with discouragement and fear. Instead, we be should inspired by Charlie’s life to stand even stronger for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

Former Congressman Jason Chaffetz was at the event with his family. He said the first question Charlie took was about religion, and he talked for 15 minutes. The second question was about transgender violence, and that’s when the shot was fired.

Obviously, we’re writing without any information about the shooter as no suspect is currently in custody.

But Charlie Kirk was one of the individuals who was routinely demonized by the Left as a “Nazi,” a “stormtrooper,” and “one of Trump’s Hitler boys.” His followers have been called “Trump’s Hitler youth.” That’s been the Left’s nonstop drumbeat, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All this hatred simply because he promoted Faith, Family, and Freedom.

The Left tried to get Donald Trump. They got Charlie Kirk today. One of their monsters killed Catholic school children just two weeks ago. These are the same type of people who attacked pro-life organizations, crisis pregnancy centers, and churches after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

It would take volumes to cite for you all the quotes in recent days by serious left-wing leaders using over-the-top violent rhetoric against conservatives, Christians, and anybody associated with the Make America Great Again movement.

California Governor Gavin Newsom recently said, “We’re going to punch these sons of b-tches in the mouth.” He was talking about Republicans.

Talk about ghouls? Within an hour of the shooting, MSNBC commentators were worried and speculating that Donald Trump will use the attack on Charlie Kirk “to do something” bad.

To every pastor, religious leader, and serious Christian: No one should ever say again, “I don’t care about politics. Leave me out of the government/culture war. I’m going to sit in my church and wait for Jesus to return.”

Jesus wants us to confront evil until He returns. Anybody who doesn’t think that what we’re up against is demonic needs to wake up now!

A Striking Contrast

Fox News this morning shared some disgusting headlines from the fake news media about the horrific murder in Charlotte, North Carolina. For example, here’s a headline from the Wall Street Journal: “Woman’s Stabbing Death Becomes MAGA Talking Point.”

The media that ignored the murder of Iryna Zarutska is accusing President Trump and the MAGA movement of exploiting her murder because we brought attention to her murder.

Just think about that. They knew about this violent crime. They knew it was explosive because of its implications. So, they did everything they could to bury it.

Then, conservative media finds out and says, “Hey, this is a perfect example of the crime Americans are concerned about.” And the leftist media is furious that conservatives are drawing attention to what’s happening around the country.

By the way, there are other cases similar to this that have also been ignored by Big Media. (Here, here, and here.)

There is a very useful comparison here.

Remember how the media treated Good Samaritan Daniel Penny? The Marine veteran acted like a man and protected subway riders from a deranged lunatic who was terrorizing the passengers. A black man on the subway helped Penny subdue Jordan Neely, the homeless aggressor, who was black and also mentally ill.

The media tried to turn Neely into the next George Floyd. They exploited his death to push the leftist agenda. They excoriated Penny for being the kind of man we want in America.

No one had to tell the media to write about it. That story went on for months. New York’s left-wing prosecutors were determined to make an example out of Penny so others wouldn’t dare fight back. They tried to send him to jail for 15 years.

The White House Responds

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted the media yesterday for the way it has handled the murder of Iryna Zarutska. From the White House podium, she said:

“This is madness. This monster should have been locked up, and Iryna should still be alive. But Democrat politicians, liberal judges, and weak prosecutors would rather virtue signal than lock up criminals and protect their communities.”

“Perhaps most shamefully of all, the majority of the media, many outlets in this room, decided that her murder was not worth reporting on originally because it does not fit a preferred narrative. . .

“Here’s the truth that every American must know. Too many innocent people across the country continue to pay the price of the failed experiment known as cashless bail that has been championed by the Democratic Party for years. . .

“These reckless policies have turned too many American cities into hunting grounds for career criminals who mock our justice system, drain law enforcement resources, and wreak havoc on law-abiding citizens.”

President Trump addressed the murder of Iryna Zarutska today. He wrote on Truth Social:

“The ANIMAL who so violently killed the beautiful young lady from Ukraine, who came to America searching for peace and safety, should be given a ‘Quick’ (there is no doubt!) Trial, and only awarded THE DEATH PENALTY. There can be no other option!!!”

The Left Whines

Multiple politicians in North Carolina and around the country are whining, “We can’t police our way out of this. We can’t arrest everyone.” Again, police aren’t the problem.

The police arrested Decarlos Brown 14 times. They did their job. The problem is left-wing, so-called “progressive” prosecutors and judges who refuse to do their jobs.

One of those North Carolina politicians is Senator Thom Tillis, who made it absolutely clear that he doesn’t want the federal government’s help reducing crime in his state. Tillis said, “I hope that people don’t amplify this into something. I haven’t seen any evidence that they’re going to focus on Charlotte. If they do, it’ll be a problem for me.”

Iryna Zarutska’s life was more than just “something,” Senator.

This is why I celebrated when Tillis said he wouldn’t run for reelection next year. Statements like this are further proof of the illness in the GOP. Tillis and others like him have no idea what being on a team even means. I’m sure he’s on his way to a high-paying lobbying job with all the security he needs.

Here’s another striking contrast and irony.

The Ukrainian government was in the process of making arrangements to return Iryna’s body to her native country. But her family said, “She loved America. We’re going to bury her here.” She was a legal migrant, a refugee, who loved America so much that her family wants her to be buried here.

Meanwhile, we’re dealing with illegal aliens who prey on American citizens and wave the flags of foreign countries while insisting we have no right to send them back to whatever hellhole they came from. Democrats give them sanctuary, but not Iryna.

There is no cure for progressive ideology. Certainly not reality. Reality is useless when confronting leftist ideologues—like people who insist men can get pregnant.

Mamdani Madness

Speaking of leftist ideologues, socialist Zohran Mamdani was interviewed earlier this year by Hasan Piker, a radical left-wing influencer and Hamas sympathizer. Mamdani knows very well who Piker is—that’s why he agreed to the interview.

In 2019, Piker said the United States “deserved 9/11,” adding, “We f—ing totally brought it on ourselves.” But that didn’t make Mamdani think twice about speaking with Piker.

Yesterday, one family forever impacted by 9/11 held a press conference to endorse Andrew Cuomo in the mayoral race. Sal Turturici, a New York City Fire Department emergency medical technician, removed bodies and body parts from Ground Zero. He now suffers from stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer.

At the press conference, his wife, Wendi, said, “How can you hang around with someone who said, ‘America deserved 9/11?’ That’s disgraceful. . . I’m calling on Mamdani to disavow Hasan Piker and his hateful words.”

Polling still shows Mamdani leading the current four-way race by a huge margin—22 points in the latest New York Times/Siena poll. But if the race narrows to just Mamdani and Cuomo, Mamdani’s lead falls to just four points.

The Kids Are Not Okay

The latest National Assessment of Educational Progress, known as the “nation’s report card,” was just released. There is no progress at all. In fact, some scores hit record lows. Only 35% of high school seniors are “proficient” in reading, while just 22% are proficient in math.

There are many reasons for this abysmal result, including the pandemic school closures pushed by the teachers’ unions and their Democrat allies. Another big reason is the absurd focus on bizarre and unnecessary things like LGBTQ instead of ABC.

Leftist ideological indoctrination over the basics of education sets our children back and leaves them unprepared for the next grade. Then, in the name of “equity,” we don’t help them; we pass them on up. Eventually, they are juniors and seniors in high school, and they have not been trained for anything.

This is how the Left is supposedly helping urban youth. It’s actually hurting urban youth. But it’s all done in the name of “compassion” and “equity.”
