Trump Issues Last Warning—Hamas Faces Consequences

President Donald Trump just raised the stakes in the Israel–Hamas war, declaring that Hamas has one last chance to release hostages or face consequences unlike anything yet seen in the conflict.

In remarks and a Truth Social post, Trump said Israel has already accepted his proposal and that “everyone wants the hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end.” Then came his blunt line: “This is my last warning, there will not be another one!”

Intelligence estimates suggest Hamas holds about 50 hostages, though fewer than half may still be alive. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff has blasted Hamas for “bad faith” talks, noting they’ve stalled for weeks despite a workable deal being on the table.

The warning also reflects Trump’s broader message: America will not tolerate its citizens left behind in terrorist hands. As he told Fox News last month, Hamas will only give up the captives when it is “confronted and destroyed.”
