Clear the way for energy that’s affordable
<[link removed]>
Hello John,
Last week, I shared with you how AFP is ramping up our “Prosperity is
Possible” campaign to tackle the root causes of higher energy prices— red tape
and outdated polices coming out of Washington.
Prices may have dipped in some areas, but now isn’t the time for complacency.
We should use this momentum topress Congress for policies that restore American
energy abundance.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share how we can reignite America’s energy
production — and how you can speak up for smarter energy policies.
In the meantime, please take a moment to complete our two-question survey.
🎤 Tell us: How is the cost of energy a burden on your wallet, and how do you
think we should get American energy abundance back on track?

❌ What’s keeping America from energy abundance?
Right now, permitting delays, overlapping regulations, and costly federal red
tape are putting us years — even decades — behind other nations that are racing
toward energy abundance.
Tens of millions of dollars have already been wasted on abandoned or delayed
projects. Every day Washington delays, America slips further behind in the race
to lead on energy.
✔️ We have solutions, but Congress must act.
Congress must take decisive action to unleash American energy and secure our
nation’s prosperity. That means:
* Reforming the broken federal permitting process that hurts innovation
before it can get off the ground.
* Expanding infrastructure so we can meet both domestic demand and the needs
of our allies.
* Bolstering the electric grid to ensure rolling blackouts don’t become the
new normal.
* Strengthening national security by making sure our allies can rely on us —
not our adversaries — for energy.
This isn’t just about lowering energy prices and cutting utility bills (though
those matter too).
If lower energy prices matter to you, please take a minute to sign our survey
telling Congress to get to work on American energy abundance.

It’s about ensuring that America remains a leader in the global race for
energy and keeping prosperity within reach for every American family.
