This is a powerful reminder that when young people come together, we can change the world.
Hey John, it’s Jackie. 👋
I’m the Executive Director and Co-Founder of March For Our Lives. I’m coming to you today because right now, students in D.C. are walking out to demand an end to Trump’s federal takeover of their city.
I keep thinking about what it means to grow up in this country right now. Young people are told that our voices don’t matter, that our futures don’t matter, that our safety is expendable if it gets in the way of power. But we know better. We know that every step toward justice and every inch of progress has been won because young people refused to stay quiet.
Young people are so powerful when we come together and organize for change.
That’s why I’m so proud to say that March For Our Lives is joining with Sunrise Movement to support students in DC and around the country to organize. Whether we’re fighting for freedom from gun violence or freedom from climate collapse and global warming, we’re building the same future: one where young people can dream, thrive, and live.
If you believe in that future, I’m asking you to split a contribution between March For Our Lives and Sunrise today. Together, we are building a movement that refuses to back down.

Every walkout, every protest, every chant in the streets is more than just resistance, it’s a declaration that it’s our future at stake and we won’t be ignored.
In solidarity,
