Hi friend, 

When I think about the work ahead, I reflect on the reality that progress doesn’t happen by itself. It happens when people like you and me decide to step up – to bring neighbors together, to push for change, and to support good leaders who are ready to serve.

Through Win the Era, I have been focused on that important work by supporting emerging leaders who bring decency, fresh ideas, and results to every level of government. These are people who are in it for the right reasons: serving their communities, solving problems, and making life better for the people they represent. By supporting them, we’re investing in the future we want to see, not just in Washington, but in statehouses, city councils, and school boards across the country.

I have also been working on amplifying important conversations about how what’s happening in Washington will really impact people across the country – meeting with fellow Americans about the impact of Trump’s budget and conveying their real concerns in online discussions. 

And, I am taking our values to as many people as possible, trying new ways of reaching people and showing up in communities that are often overlooked. 

I might not be on the ballot right now, but I am more committed than ever to doing the work that shapes our collective future. This only works when we stand together – and when we have the resources to keep going.
