Hey, John!

This September, we are all in on our National Voter Registration Week of Action — happening Monday, September 15, through Sunday, September 21.

The choices we make at the ballot box this year in local elections shape our daily lives. Maybe you’re dodging potholes, worried about climate change, or thinking about rising costs at the grocery store. From the water we drink to the schools our kids attend, these everyday issues are decided by the leaders we elect locally.

John, the numbers don’t lie:

🗳️ 5,700 races are happening this September and October.
🏛️ 53,000+ local and state elections are on the ballot on November 4.
⚖️ More open seats are up for grabs in 2025 than in 2024.
📋 Voters will elect governors, mayors, school boards, and city councils representing millions.
📊 30 statewide ballot measures in nine states will decide major issues: the economy, voting access, and infrastructure.

And here’s the most important part — Black, Brown, and young voters in at least 46 states have the power to shape the outcome.

You are the best influencer in your community. By checking your registration and making sure your squad is ready to vote, you’re building power right where it matters most. Join us this upcoming National Voter Registration Week of Action by doing these three things:

→ Register to Vote: Go to WhenWeAllVote.org [[link removed]] to register to vote now. With less than 50 days until Election Day, make sure YOUR voice will be heard on the issues you care about most.

→ Check Your Voter Registration: Already registered? Make sure all your information is up to date at WhenWeAllVote.org [[link removed]] — it takes less than three minutes!

→ Build Your Voting Squad: Text at least THREE people to make sure they are registered and ready to vote. The bigger your squad, the better!

There are no off years in democracy. Every ballot matters, every vote counts, and every conversation moves us closer to the future we deserve. Together, let’s make this National Voter Registration Week of Action one to remember.

Til next time,
Beth
