September is shaping up to be an
incredibly busy month for the FPC Lawsuit Printer, so we wanted to
give you a quick snapshot of the battles ahead.

This Friday: The
amici’s (court-appointed legal team) brief is due at the District
Court in FPC’s Texas-based challenge to location carry bans:
Ziegenfuss v.
Martin.
- The
reason this is noteworthy is that the Court brought in the amici and
requested that they file a brief in light of Texas declining to argue
on the merits.

Sept. 19th: FPC’s
response brief is due in our case, Reese v. ATF, which challenges the federal 18-20 handgun
purchase ban.
- Our
brief will be a direct response to the government’s brief in support
of its proposed judgment, which proposed LIMITED relief only to the
named plaintiffs.

Sept. 22nd: This one
is MASSIVE. Oral arguments will take place at the Seventh Circuit in FPC’s
“assault weapons” challenge, Harrel v. Raoul, in
Illinois.

These could be
BLOCKBUSTER oral arguments, and you can check them out yourself by tuning
into the court’s livestream here.

Sept. 29th: Finally,
and this one could be the most important of the whole bunch, Cook
County’s deadline to file a response to our cert petition asking the
U.S. Supreme Court to hear our “assault weapons” challenge in
Viramontes v. Cook
County.

If SCOTUS agrees to hear our case,
expect this to be an EPIC fight that will determine the future of
tyrannical bans on semiautomatic rifles in common use.
We told you the weeks and months to
come would be CHOCK FULL of hard-hitting legal action, and as you can
see, the Lawsuit Printer is running WHITE HOT for you,
