John,
How many times is Big Tech going to get away with harming our children?
This week, six brave new whistleblowers disclosed that Meta suppressed internal research about the harms its virtual reality (VR) products were causing to children, purposefully refused to collect key metrics about child sexual harassment online, and hid evidence that it violated federal law. [1]
For years now, Big Tech companies have put their profits ahead of the safety of everyday people, doing whatever it takes to keep an addicted audience, with no regard for the consequences.
Enough is enough. We refuse to let Big Tech keep using the same playbook unchecked.
Issue One Action is fighting to hold Big Tech accountable, by demanding our lawmakers finally pass legislation to protect Americans from the dangers posed by these companies that aren’t acting with the public’s best interest in mind.
We’re working day in and day out to make this happen — but it takes a lot of resources and we need you with us.
We’re taking on Big Tech’s unchecked power — and we need your voice in this fight. Will you donate today and help us expand and amplify our important work to hold Big Tech accountable?
Big Tech’s interests shouldn’t come before the American people. Congress must choose between protecting us or protecting Big Tech’s profits — and together we can make that happen.
We appreciate all you do, The Issue One Action Team
