Friend,
We all gathered in the office this morning to watch Governor Beshear's Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance, and we couldn't be more proud.
Andy didn't hold back. He called out Republicans in Congress saying, "They basically punched rural America in the face," and explained how their cuts will shut down rural hospitals that are often the largest employers in small communities.
Half of Kentucky's kids are covered by Medicaid. Seventy percent of long-term care costs for our seniors depend on it. Now families might lose coverage just for missing a checkbox on paperwork.
"This is going to have detrimental impacts, not just to whole communities, but to families. It's wrong. It's mean," Andy said. "We need to flip Congress to undo it."
You can watch the full interview here and see for yourself why we're so proud of our governor.
