There’s no other way to put it: Social Security is under attack. Not from retirees or working Americans who have paid and are currently paying into the program — but from reckless leadership and billionaires who want to dismantle it piece by piece.

As you know, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has been forced to operate under devastating budget shortfalls, leaving millions of beneficiaries struggling to access their earned benefits. Instead of fixing the problem, current SSA leadership has rolled out reckless policies that put YOUR personal information at risk and make it harder for Americans to get the help they need.

That’s why I need you to sign our Petition to Congress today ( [link removed] ) and urge your U.S. Senators to cosponsor the “Keep Billionaires Out of Our Social Security Act.”

This important bill will restore critical SSA funding, safeguard sensitive personal data and keep billionaire-influence OUT of Social Security, because your earned benefits should never be a political playground for the wealthy elite.

Here’s a quick reminder of the chaos taking place at SSA:

Critical underfunding and staffing cuts have reduced essential customer service and made it harder for seniors, people with disabilities and retirees to get the help they need.
Reckless leadership decisions at SSA have jeopardized the privacy of beneficiaries, exposing sensitive personal information.
Billionaires, like Elon Musk, and their allies in Congress are pushing policies designed to undermine public confidence in Social Security, all while protecting and exponentially growing their own fortunes.

Make no mistake, the chaos happening in Washington, DC, is no accident. Yet, we cannot afford to allow the political theater taking place to distract from what’s happening under the radar at critical agencies like SSA — radical changes that put your earned benefits at risk.
