This is important. We're all in this together.

Hi John,

NYC public schools should be safe havens for students and workers. Yet, our 75+ year old school buildings are too hot, too cold, and plagued with mold, leaks, asbestos, and poor ventilation.

Rising temperatures and extreme weather are making this crisis worse, and schools are harming our health and our education, most of all in disadvantaged communities.

With federal cuts threatening the future of our planet, it’s time for New York to deliver our own solutions. Join us to call on the next Mayor of NYC to invest in Green, Healthy Schools with upgraded ventilation, increased energy efficiency, rooftop solar, and more.

Sign The Petition

By investing in green upgrades for NYC public schools, we can lead the nation and create thousands of green union jobs, improve student performance, and deliver thriving communities, because students, teachers, and school workers deserve schools where they can work and learn safely.

Sign the petition to tell the next NYC mayor: we need Green, Healthy Schools to ensure the future of the City’s climate, children, education system, and workforce.

In solidarity,

Faiza Azam
