Trump’s popularity is tanking, his involvement in the Epstein scandal has deeply divided the MAGA base, and House Republicans face revolts in their districts over cuts to Medicaid. To save their House majority they pushed Texas to pass rigged maps that remove a minimum of five blue districts in one swoop. Now MAGA redistricts in Ohio, Missouri, and Florida are on the way. The New York Times has published an infographic to show how difficult the new redistricting landscape makes it for dems to reclaim the House in 2026: Democrats will need a massive blue wave but reclaiming the House is still possible. If MAGA axed all Democratic seats here it would give them 18 red seats, enough seats to give them a near bulletproof House majority. The only thing preventing this is the xxxxxx of Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court which has a 3 vote democratic majority. Unfortunately, these justices are up for reelection this coming November 2025, and MAGA has launched a full court press to have them removed. Using the lack of attention this race is getting to their advantage, MAGA has quietly prepared a warchest and on the ground presence comparable in size and scale to what a presidential campaign might deploy to flip a swing state. Democrats on the other hand have been asleep at the wheel and allowed MAGA to make massive gains over the summer which if left unchecked will cost us this race.
