I see families leaving because they can't afford to stay. I see small businesses shuttered while big corporations cozy up to Sacramento. I see streets where parents no longer feel safe walking their kids at night.

And every one of these failures happened on Gavin Newsom's watch.

For years, he's smiled for the cameras and promised progress. What we got instead is higher costs, more crime, and a California that feels less and less like home.

Friend, I refuse to sit back and watch this happen. I'm running for Congress because I believe California is worth fighting for, but I need people like you to fight with me.

Meet Joe Males:

Joe Males is a Marine Veteran, small business-owner, city council member, and most importantly, a father. Throughout his life, he has put service to his community at the forefront of his life's mission.

Shortly after turning 18, Joe enlisted in the Marine Corps. He attended boot camp in Camp Pendleton and later served overseas in the Philippines and Guam. After being discharged as a Sergeant, Joe remained committed to supporting his fellow veterans. He took on leadership roles in his local Elks Lodge and American Legion post, working to ensure veterans in the community had the resources and support they deserved.

Following his time in the Marine Corps, Joe carried his strong work ethic and discipline into the field of computer networking services. He started in an entry-level position, worked his way through multiple leadership roles, and in 1996, he built his own business from the ground up. Joe knows firsthand the hard work and sacrifice of this journey, and he's determined to make it easier for hardworking Americans to do the same.

Joe's entry into politics was deeply personal. After his son, a Marine who followed in his footsteps, was tragically murdered back home, Joe vowed that no parent should have to endure such a loss. Determined to take a stand for public safety and the rule of law, he ran for Hemet City Council to help ensure no other family would experience the same tragedy.

During his tenure on the City Council, Joe has led numerous initiatives to improve infrastructure, drive business growth, and keep neighborhoods safe and clean. He takes pride in his ability to collaborate with fellow council members and get results, even when facing different perspectives. Joe is committed to bringing this same results-driven approach to Washington D.C., to ensure the voices of the American people are heard and their needs are met.
