💙 I must express my heart-felt gratitude to the voters all across Charlotte for your tremendous vote of confidence.

This was not just my victory — it was a victory for positive and inclusive campaigns that share a vision for Charlotte’s future. A future where every neighborhood has a voice, every family feels safe, and every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Most of all, to my amazing husband — thank you for carrying the weight both at home and at work. You kept the kids, cooked the meals, managed drop-offs and pick-ups, and still showed up for your own responsibilities. To our children—thank you for your patience, your hugs, and your love. This win belongs to you as much as it belongs to me.
