Your gift by Friday can double to fuel research, care and support.
Dear Friend,
This weekend, we celebrated Grandparents' Day. But for those who have lost a grandparent to Alzheimer's disease, this was a difficult day. Here at the Alzheimer's Association, we cherish those we have lost and recognize the impact that this devastating disease has on an entire family.
This incredible match is possible thanks to Don and Nancy Bouc, who have generously pledged to match all gifts — up to a total of $100,000 — if we can raise the same amount by September 12. Their gift is made in honor of Nancy, who is currently living with Alzheimer's, and will go toward care and support resources at their local chapter. Your gift can go twice as far to accelerate research and help provide care and support to all who count on it.
Timing is critical, Friend. Once this match ends, so will the opportunity to have your gift go 2X as far. We need you to make a positive impact, because the negative effects of Alzheimer's are tremendous. This disease not only takes a physical and emotional toll — it has a financial impact as well. In 2025, Alzheimer's and other dementias will cost the nation $384 billion. By 2050, these costs could rise to nearly $1 trillion.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
