Last week, I rose in opposition to President Trump’s attacks on the Constitution, free and fair elections, and the rule of law. We are watching the rise of tyranny across this country. However, House Republicans and “so-called Constitutional Conservatives” are doing nothing to stand up against it.

As a Black woman, I know who the oppressive executive orders coming out of the Oval Office will hurt first. I also know that everyone will be punished if these attacks on our freedoms continue.

It’s time to rise, not as Democrats or Republicans, but as Americans who want to protect our democracy, our economy, and our families.

Last week, President Trump said, “I have the right to do anything I want to do. I’m the President of the United States.”

He wants no checks and no balances. Not from the courts. Not from Congress. Not from voters. But we’re not going to let that happen. Join me in the fight against Trump’s toxic agenda by rushing $5 now.
