Pat just laid out his plan for Democrats ahead of the upcoming budget fight.

Conventional wisdom in Washington says Democrats should just accept some BS funding deal that “minimizes damage.” But the old rules have been thrown out. We need to stand up and fight back. 

Here’s the truth: Donald Trump doesn’t honor deals. He’s already screwing the American people.

You don’t cower in front of a bully. You punch back and expose them for the fraud they are.

And he laid out exactly how we fight back:

• Repeal Trump’s $1 trillion in tax cuts for the 1%.
• Replace it with tax cuts for the middle class.
• Repeal the $75 billion increase to ICE and Trump’s unconstitutional deployment of U.S. troops against U.S. citizens.
• Replace it with funding for local law enforcement and opioid addiction treatment.
• Repeal the $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid that would kick 17 million Americans off health care.
• Replace it by lowering health insurance bills by 75% — nearly $1,000 in yearly savings for Hudson Valley families.

Here’s the bottom line: Trump isn’t doing what the American people want or need.

We can cut taxes for working families, lower health care costs, and make our communities safer, without masked, armed troops in our neighborhoods.
