Stateline: Democratic AGs sue DOJ to receive federal funding for victims of violent crimes.

The Trump administration just tried to block states from accessing that funding— over $1 billion —for victims unless states comply with their extreme immigration agenda.

That’s right: their latest ploy to push cruel immigration policies is to take away critical support for crime survivors.
Attorney General Anthony Brown is standing up to make sure crime victims can access these resources. Last month, he joined a coalition of 21 attorneys general to stop the Trump administration from politicizing aid for victims of crime to ensure survivors across the country get the help they need.
