My career was defined by a commitment to service to our country. I went to college on the GI Bill, served in the Air Force, and taught at the Air Force Academy. Most recently, I served as a Park Ranger at Wind Cave National Park. That is, until Elon Musk and the DOGE team came for our parks, our public services, and our jobs.
To put it frankly, our elected officials have strayed from a commitment to serving regular folks.
We have a president who is dismantling our democracy, and Cabinet officials like Pete Hegseth are making a mockery of our military institutions. And our current Senators aren’t fighting back.
South Dakotans need an Independent voice, not someone who will come into office and fall in line with Donald Trump. We need someone who will come in and stand up for what the founding fathers intended for our country.
