Labor Week marked the last stop of our #BetterInAUnion Bus Tour—where we spent the summer crisscrossing the country, meeting with workers in our own communities and training, rallying, organizing, standing on strike lines, and holding politicians accountable for their votes and their actions that are hurting working people. And we got ready to fight.
We’re ready to fight for federal workers’ collective bargaining rights—and to stand against the single biggest act of union-busting in history.
We’re ready to fight to protect workers’ safety on the job and for the jobs of the workers who keep us safe every day.
And we’re ready to fight to organize our workplaces; for better wages, stronger benefits and safer working conditions; and for the dignity and respect that every worker deserves.
We know there’s tough work ahead, but if there’s anything union members know, it’s this: We can win when we stand together. We can stand up to the wealthiest and the most powerful. We can topple corporate greed and rewrite the rules. And we can fight for ALL workers.
Are you with us?
In solidarity,
Team AFL-CIO
