I’m a retired teacher, but I still have one last lesson to share.

It’s one I taught my daughter, and she knows it better than anyone.

This is Anne, Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s mother. I want to tell you a story.

As a mother and a teacher, you want the best for your kids.

To see them walk across the stage and receive their high school diploma.

That wasn’t my daughter’s story. I can still see it like it was yesterday.

At 17, Nancy dropped out of high school.

Her friends attended graduation in their caps and gowns…

But my daughter put on a Waffle House apron and headed to the graveyard shift.

As a teacher, it broke my heart. As a mom, I feared she’d never recover.

But that’s the thing about Nancy.

In the end, it didn’t matter that she didn’t graduate.

Because she listened to the #1 lesson I taught her, and it didn’t come from a book.

Never give up.

My daughter wasn’t born with a silver spoon.

From an early age, Nancy learned the value of hard work.

She was destined to pick herself up and fight back.

By 21, she became the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, South Carolina’s Military College.

Nancy then made it to Congress, where she represented the people of South Carolina’s First District.

Today, Nancy is running for Governor of South Carolina.

And just like she did at Waffle House, she’s going to put on her apron and get to work for the people of our state.

As a mother, it breaks my heart to hear the terrible things the media and the establishment say about her.

But Nancy is my daughter. And I know this: She never backs down. And she never stops fighting.

I want to ask you something from one parent, one patriot, to another:

Will you support my daughter in the toughest battle of her life?

I’ve seen the way the Radical Left wants to indoctrinate our kids with their radical transgender ideology in our classrooms.

That’s why Nancy is the fighter we need to send to the Governor’s mansion.

She’s never bent to the Trans Mob.

She’s never abandoned God’s word.

And she won’t back down from the fight to save our children.
