NPR recently reported that a record number of U.S. lawmakers are retiring
in 2026 — Democrats and Republicans alike.

That means dozens of open seats at every level of government. And those
open seats? They’re some of the most winnable races for young progressives
like the ones we’re backing.

This isn’t a drill. This is the moment to build a new bench of leaders who
will fight like hell for our future — and it’s up to us to make sure they
win.

We’re preparing to recruit, train, and elect the next wave of badass young
leaders to fill those seats. But we need grassroots support to do it.

In 2023, we helped elect the youngest state legislator in Virginia. Last
cycle, we elected a slate of bold leaders like Molly Cook, Sarah McBride,
and Oscar De Los Santos.

This cycle? We want to elect dozens more young progressives across the
country.
