Our adversaries are watching Donald Trump very closely. And because of his indefensible, reckless decision to move U.S. Space Command from Colorado to Alabama, they’re smiling.

This plan is a disaster in every sense of the word. So why is Donald Trump pushing it? It’s because Coloardo… dares to offer mail-in voting to its citizens. No, I’m not joking.

Look, this decision isn’t about Colorado’s or Alabama’s defense capabilities. This is about political retribution, plain and simple — even if it places American lives at risk.

Moving U.S. Space Command from Colorado makes no sense financially. It will waste billions of taxpayer dollars and decimate one of Colorado’s strongest economic engines.

And most importantly, this decision will severely undermine our national security as well. The Department of Defense itself has reported multiple times that moving Space Command from Colorado will impede our nation’s military capability for years — possibly decades down the line.

Playing politics with our national security is disgraceful. And that’s why every member of Colorado’s Congressional delegation is united: The rightful home of Space Command has always been, and will always be, Colorado.
