When I was growing up, my dad always noticed changes in a drive-thru. In fact, any time we would go through a drive-thru, my dad would make sure there was enough space between us and the pick up window to open his door and pick the loose change up off the ground. People drop coins all the time, and he always saw it as foolish to leave them lying there.
My dad hates waste. He knows that every dollar and even every penny adds up.
To him, a quarter or even a penny wasn’t “just small change.” It was money someone had worked to earn. Why let it go to waste?
That’s the mindset he’s had as a dad, as a businessman, and as a Congressman. And you can bet it’s the mindset he’ll have as governor.
My dad believes in making the most out of every opportunity, no matter how small. He believes in hard work, saving, and responsibility. He taught me that those little things add up, and that’s true in life, in business, and especially in government.
My dad isn’t a career politician. He’s not going to waste your tax dollars, ignore the details, or let opportunities slip away. He treats the people’s money with the same care and respect he treats his own family’s.
If that’s the kind of governor you want to see lead South Carolina, I’m hoping you’ll pitch in a donation of any amount to support my dad’s campaign today.
Since we know every penny adds up, we would be grateful for whatever donation you can afford, whether it’s $1, $10, or even more.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Thanks,
Mary Catherine
