I wanted to make sure you saw this important update on the Colorado gubernatorial race: 

A serious Republican opponent just announced she is running to be Colorado’s next governor.

Look, if she wins, she will govern for Donald Trump, not for Colorado families. 

I don’t mean to scare you, but these are the facts: 

* She has bragged about being one of Trump’s staunchest supporters in Colorado. 
* She supported Trump’s dangerous budget that blew a huge hole in Colorado’s state budget and will kick tens of thousands of Coloradans off of Medicaid and close rural hospitals and nursing homes. 
* She wants to criminalize abortion, even in cases of rape or incest. 

She’s all in on Trump’s economic agenda—a disaster for Colorado families, workers, and small businesses:

* His tariffs are driving up prices on everything from groceries to housing, while small businesses get crushed.
* His policies are killing jobs and slowing our economy to a crawl.
* He racked up a $3 trillion deficit, leaving the bill to our kids and grandkids.

Colorado deserves a governor who protects freedom, respects families, and fights for everyday Coloradans. This race could be extremely close, and we can’t let a Republican extremist like this be in charge of Colorado.
